Alexis Pechek

Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate

Supervised by Heather Bedinger, M.Ed., LPC-S (#69461)

alexis@olivehousecounseling.com

Alexis is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life's challenges while feeling seen, supported, and empowered. She believes healing begins within a safe, trusting relationship and strives to create a warm, compassionate environment where clients can grow with confidence. Alexis takes a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet every client's unique needs.

Alexis has a special passion for working with children and incorporating play therapy into the counseling process. She believes children often communicate through play before they have the words to express their thoughts and emotions, making play a powerful tool for healing and growth. During her clinical internship, Alexis worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, ADHD, emotional and behavioral concerns, grief, life transitions, parenting challenges, and relationship difficulties. As a bilingual therapist, she proudly provides counseling services in both English and Spanish.

Ultimately, Alexis' goal is to help every client feel heard, understood, and equipped with the tools needed to navigate life's challenges. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they build resilience, strengthen relationships, and discover hope and healing.

Originally from California, Alexis has called Texas home for nearly a decade. Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, baking homemade sourdough, and training for races. She believes in finding joy in life's simple moments and values the importance of connection, balance, and making lasting memories with her family.
