Heather has experience working with children, adolescents and adults for over 10 years. She enjoys being able to connect with and provide a safe place for children and teens to express their fears and anxieties, as well as their hopes and dreams. She loves being a contact for parents and supporting them during their parenting journey. She also enjoys working with adult women as they process the challenges of life.
It can often feel like you are constantly running up a hill, muscles sore and out of breath, it’s challenging to see the summit. Heather believes that every individual desires, and is able, to live a life of fulfillment by removing barriers and discovering tools that work for them. We are not magically able to make the discomforts of this world disappear, but we are able to grow and heal through experiences such as losses, hopes, anxieties, and suffering. She is passionate about journeying with her clients to discover coping skills, develop positive relationships and uncover freedom from past hurts. Her goal as your therapist is to provide a safe environment and a comforting ear for you to process your past and present challenges. Heather believes that the first step towards healing is connection, and building a relational alliance is of utmost importance. Together, you will explore your concerns, seek solutions, hold space for healing, and celebrate growth and change.
Heather was born and raised in East Texas. She and her family live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She is an avid triathlete, and loves spending time with her husband and 3 children. She is passionate about advocating for people with disabilities. She believes that her life experiences have prepared her to provide quality care for people in need, and is thrilled to offer her talents and services as co-owner of Olive House Counseling.

Abby has had experience working with children, adolescents, and adults for over 8 years. One of her greatest joys in working with children is seeing how strong and resilient they are. She loves partnering with parents to help on this journey. She also loves working with adults by creating a personalized approach for each client that utilizes their strengths and helps them discover their potential.
Life is full of so many challenges, it can seem overwhelming to think about the steps toward self-healing, but Abby believes each person wants, and is capable of, living in a fulfilling and positive way by removing barriers and finding tools that work for them. She has come to know that we do not get rid of the discomforts life brings, such as, our losses, wishes, fears, and sufferings, but as we come to know ourselves and learn new skills, feeling better and functioning are not far away. She is passionate about helping people through their struggles to find coping skills, freedom, and the ability to learn how to build healthy relationships. Her goal as your therapist is to help you navigate through life's struggles and walk alongside you to work through hard circumstances, finding practical tools that work for you. She always wants her office to be a safe, warm, and inviting space for clients to discuss challenges that can be uncomfortable to address. She believes healing comes from connection, and she strives to connect with each one of her clients. Abby is a Texas native. Her and her family live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She enjoys doing house projects with her husband, and spending time with her 3 kids. She has a golden retriever, Beau, who is in therapy dog training and hoping to join the practice one day. The accumulation of her professional and personal experience has led her to invest as co-owner of Olive House, and It’s a joy and honor for her to serve.

Krista has experience working with children, adolescents and adults for over 5 years. As a counselor, one of Krista’s greatest hopes is to be able to connect with clients by providing a safe and therapeutic environment to be able to process the challenges of life while also looking to the future in hope. She loves seeing children be able to learn effective ways of expressing and processing emotions. She enjoys providing a place for adolescents to feel seen and heard, while helping them see areas of growth. It is also a joy to walk with women as they rediscover positive ways to self-care and process hardships.
As people, we often experience what feels like a series of highs and lows. During the difficult times in life when we are facing unexpected loss, uncharted hurt or unmet expectations, it can feel impossible to overcome. Krista believes that restoration and healing is available to all people. She is passionate about providing an environment that cultivates safety and trust so that together, she and her clients, may be able to find effective and practical tools to navigate through the challenges that life may present. Faylinn has had experience working with adolescents and adult women for over 4 years. She is passionate about loving people and connecting with them so that she can journey alongside them as they search for healing, wholeness, and hope. Her desire with each client is to tailor a plan together that will best help her clients reach their desired goals.
Life can often feel overwhelming and as though you are alone in your struggle and pain. Faylinn believes that healing is not only attainable but that each individual can live with freedom and fulfilled. She does so by using an eclectic approach of various therapeutic methods, such as Adlerian, CBT and EMDR trauma therapy, in order to give them the tools needed to heal from the past and live victoriously in the present. Together you will share your concerns, seek solutions, and celebrate progress on the way to healing.
Faylinn was born in East Texas. She and her family have lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for 15 years. Faylinn enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, traveling and hiking. She believes that her life experiences and professional training have prepared her for living her dream of loving people where they are and serving others.

Ashley has over ten years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She loves the honesty and bluntness of kids and teens and their ability to tell it like it is. She has worked as a Teacher and School Counselor and can help her clients navigate the public education system. She finds creative ways to partner with parents to help them navigate the many ups and downs of raising children. Ashley also loves working with teenagers and adults to help them learn how to manage their anxiety, set healthy boundaries, change negative thought patterns, and value the amazing individual they are.
We all go through so many hardships and feel as though we have to carry our burdens on our own. It can be so draining and defeating to feel like you are not living the life you had pictured for yourself. Ashley can help relieve those feelings of loneliness and burdens by creating a genuine caring relationship with her clients. She meets clients where they are - hurt, angry, scared, fearful - and slowly helps them set goals and make changes towards healing.
Ashley was born in Florida then spent most of her childhood in central Oklahoma. In high school, her family moved to North Texas and she has called the DFW area home for over 20 years. Ashley loves being outside with her husband and toddler. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places - from mountains to beaches and everything in between. Ashley draws from all of the changes and trials in her life to help connect with clients and understand the challenges they are facing.

Valerie has had experience in working with adolescents, teenagers, and adults for over 12
years. She endeavors to support others as they gain insight and understanding about
themselves and their life experiences. Valerie understands that incorporating various forms of
therapy may be necessary to help you reach your therapeutic goals. Valerie also counsels
through a trauma informed perspective recognizing that what one person experiences as
traumatic another may not.
Life has many trials and obstacles. Sometimes we define who we are by how we feel as we
navigate these experiences. Valerie’s goal as your counselor is to provide a safe space of
unconditional positive regard along with the appropriate therapeutic approach to help you feel better, gain self-awareness, and coping skills on your journey to a sense of well-being and
empowerment.
Valerie grew up in a military family which necessitated moving 13 times in the first 12 years of
her life. She has four daughters and seven grandchildren. She enjoys her family, bicycling, kayaking, horses, and exploring alternative health solutions. Valerie’s life course has shifted a
few times providing her experiences which inform her work in counseling. As she is no stranger
on how to contend with change, adversity, loss, and trauma, her focus is on helping you grow
through your adversities and experience healing, develop resilience, and gain empowerment.
